What is Kickstarter – and why do we use it?
Kickstarter is a platform where creative projects like ours can be pre-funded – directly by people who are interested in them. This way, new things are created not behind closed doors, but together with a supportive community.
You may be wondering: Is this safe?
Yes – absolutely. We've already worked successfully with Kickstarter and can say with complete conviction:
The money goes where it belongs – to us, the creators.
By supporting us on Kickstarter, you'll help us bring the new ARCA into production. You'll be the first to get the product—at the best price—even before it officially goes on sale.
Important to know:
- The payment will be activated when the campaign is successfully completed.
- If the project does not reach the funding threshold, you will get your money back.
- As manufacturers, we are personally responsible for delivery.
And that’s what we do – with joy, experience and a lot of heart.
Frequently asked questions about Kickstarter
Kickstarter is an international platform with over 200,000 successfully funded projects. Payments are processed through a certified payment service provider (Stripe) that operates worldwide – secure, encrypted, and reliable.
Important to know: Your credit card will not be charged until the project has been successfully funded.
👉 Your data is secure with Kickstarter and will not be shared with third parties. We do not receive any credit card information, only your name, address, and chosen reward.
Kickstarter only accepts credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) because the system is based on a reservation : Your card is only reserved when you place your order. The actual debit will only occur upon successful completion of the campaign (in our case, on July 8). Therefore, PayPal, Sofortüberweisung, or other services are unfortunately not available on Kickstarter.
- Choose your desired variant (e.g. a large ARCA X-tract) on our Kickstarter page.
- Click on “Select reward” and log in or create a free account.
- Enter your shipping address and credit card.
- Done – you will receive confirmation from Kickstarter.
💡 Good to know: Your card will only be charged once we have reached our goal – that’s fair and gives you security.
