Carsten Jörgensens Idee war es, eine einfache, aber faszinierende Form zu schaffen, die entweder allein in einer Zimmerecke oder in Gruppen von drei oder mehr Leuchten angeordnet werden kann. Er nahm die Form eines Tropfens als Ausgangspunkt für seinen Entwurf. Raffiniert ist, dass der Tropfen von einer Seite aus gesehen nach unten fällt, während er aus einem anderen Winkel nach oben zu fallen scheint. Mit Hilfe elementarer geometrischer Formen hat der Designer faszinierende Formen geschaffen, die ihren Charakter von einem Winkel zum anderen verändern.

madetostay - Our heart project
In 2017, it all started like the beginning of a joke: A Dane, a Swiss, an Englishman and a German go to lunch... But that was the beginning of madetostay - our dream brand was born.
Two designers, two sales people, all with brilliant careers at big brands, decided to do something different. Kirsten was just as enthusiastic, and so there we were: proud founders of madetostay. Kirsten, Jürgen, Peter and Carsten. Jonathon looked after the customers in the UK, and Carl Henkel took over worldwide sales.
