In the Explorer Set you get four specialty coffees , but only pay for three. Your rating will determine which coffee will be our favorite coffee of 2026.
Included are last year's winner, Breakfast Blend , and three new roasts that we developed together with Sebastian, our roaster. All coffees are perfectly suited for preparation with the ARCA X-tract : full-bodied, aromatic, and smooth. Packaged in 4 x 250g bags with a freshness valve.

You decide what truly impresses. The tasting takes place at home, at breakfast or with cake, not in a lab. By participating, you'll help us develop next year's favorite coffee. Because the best coffee is the one that tastes best to you.
High quality, durable, dishwasher safe
The patented stainless steel filter has an additional fine-mesh stainless steel sieve inside. The complete filter is made of high-quality stainless steel (18/8, material number SS304). A silicone ring holds the porcelain lid firmly on the filter, This means it won't fall into your freshly brewed coffee.
The Arca X-tract is available in two versions:
Borosilicate glass: The heat-resistant laboratory glass contains no substances that are hazardous to health, is hygienic and does not absorb tastes, odors or discoloration. The glass is light, stable and very robust .
Porcelain : At Arca in porcelain we use robust hotel quality to guarantee durability in daily use.

Easy and quick cleaning
All parts of the ARCA & IONIC X-tract* are dishwasher safe.
To clean the filter, dispose of the coffee grounds in organic household waste or compost and wash them from the outside in under running water.
We clean the filter in the dishwasher once a week. This can also be done with very hot water, a brush and dish soap.
*We decided to make the handle of the porcelain jugs hollow, which means it doesn't get hot and offers a stable construction. The handle has a small hole at the bottom that allows water to occasionally enter and exit. However, this is harmless.
Avoid aluminum and plastic when making coffee:
Like plastic, aluminum is also very controversial in combination with hot water or coffee or tea. Even if the data situation is not clear and we don't want to spread panic, we have banned such devices from our household...
